It's Time 02:03
Crawling out to see the light Getting up took all your might It’s time (it’s time) It’s time (it’s time) It’s time (it’s time) It’s time (it’s time) And you gotta know that I couldn’t see it But Lord how I believed it No matter how hard the fall Because every time I promised I’d quit it Oh Lord I recommitted In answer to heaven’s call Singing out to the unknown Making meaning all my own It’s time (it’s time) It’s time (it’s time) It’s time (it’s time) It’s time (it’s time) And you gotta know that I couldn’t see it But Lord how I believed it No matter how hard the fall Because every time I promised I’d quit it Oh Lord I recommitted In answer to heaven’s call And you gotta know that I couldn’t see it But Lord how I believed it No matter how hard the fall Because every time I promised I’d quit it Oh Lord I recommitted In answer to heaven’s call

Saint 02:38
You’re not good You’re not bad You’re a walking contradiction On a road that’s mad Walking circles Around the same It’s an elevator Up and down One big game Be a human Be a saint Tell nobody what you’re doing ‘Cause the doing is the thing Be a human Feel your pain Let your stories burn your insides So they’re not in vain Stop the noise Hold the gate If your only contribution Is a smaller stake In what we’re living In what we make Let your inner constitution Prove you’re not a fake Be a human Be a saint Tell nobody what you’re doing Cause the doing is the thing Be a human Feel your pain Let your stories burn your insides So they’re not in vain Be a human Be a saint Tell nobody what you’re doing Cause the doing is the thing Be a human Feel your pain Let your stories burn your insides So they’re not in vain Be a human Be a human Be Be

Deep in your heart That beats A feeling that burns Heat Without it you fall Weak It compels you to Speak You’re a perfect machine That knows what it means And won’t let feelings show You’re a perfect machine That sees through the screen And secretly knows there’s more Under your skin That bleeds A tale that spins Deep Is it in your bones To compete Or to be the light You seek You’re a perfect machine That knows what it means And won’t let feelings show You’re a perfect machine That sees through the screen And secretly knows there’s more You’re a perfect machine That knows what it means And won’t let feelings show You’re a perfect machine That sees through the screen And secretly knows there’s more

(Welcome, welcome Welcome, welcome) Here’s my home that felt so safe Until the walls caved in Here’s my heart that’s wrapped in steel So tall it will not feel Where did all my windows go? And why is it the sun won’t show? Welcome to my house of bones Where all the fallen leaves have blown And memories, though overgrown Hide treasures in my house of bones Here’s my gate that rusted shut To keep away my kin Here’s my spirit carrying The burdens of my skin Why did all my doorways close? And why did all my dreaming slow? Welcome to my house of bones Where all the fallen leaves have blown And memories, though overgrown Hide treasures in my house of bones (Welcome, welcome) Welcome to my house of bones Where all the fallen leaves have blown And memories, though overgrown Hide treasures in my house of bones Hide treasures in my house of bones Treasures in my house of bones (Welcome, welcome Welcome, welcome) (Welcome, welcome Welcome, welcome)

The Narrow 03:33
Between beauty and greed Between plenty and need Among angels and dreams Lies the narrow The promise, the creed Lies the narrow A faith guaranteed And I knew that I find you in the narrow Even though everyone told me I was Looking in the wrong place And I knew that I would find you in the narrow In the veil between In the space between Our lives Between good and conceit Between health and disease Among demons and dreams Lies the narrow A humble deceit Lies the narrow A lesson concealed And I knew that I find you in the narrow Even though everyone told me I was Looking in the wrong place And I knew that I would find you in the narrow In the veil between In the space between Our lives And I knew that I would find you In the narrow In the narrow In the narrow Oh oh oh

Something 02:31
Sometime Waiting for the clouds to clear Only grateful you were near Now I wish I’d known Somewhere Deep within the atmosphere Long before I felt fear Living in the afterglow Something gained But feelings fade Wishing I could find the name Of what I thought I lost Terrors old And warmth grown cold Wishing I could grab a hold Of something Someway Gleaming in the nether light made the love that felt so right Harder to uphold Somehow In between the sunlit rays I disappeared inside your gaze And forgot my own Something gained But feelings fade Wishing I could find the name Of what I thought I lost Terrors old And warmth grown cold Wishing I could grab a hold Of something

Windswept 01:50
Mother are you Calling Me We left you long ago But I know you Run in my veins And you have built all my dreams Oooooohhh Where does the wind blow Everybody else Oooooohhh Oh I am windswept But I’m still singing Now we know that Streets of gold Can wear you very thin So I long for Times of old When wandering on the plain Oooooohhh Where does the wind blow Everybody else Oooooohhh Oh I am windswept But I’m still singing Oooooohhh Where does the wind blow Everybody else Oooooohhh Oh I am windswept But I’m still singing

We Got This 02:06
Mm the whole world has changed And nothing feels the same Yes there’s a harsh wind blowing But there’s no other way You’re making calls for order These people are deranged But didn’t anybody ever tell you We’re the same And we may not know where we’re going Ooohhhhh But we got this We can’t stop it Even if it’s hard to be growing Oooohhh We got this We can’t stop it Yes it’s still so strange We’re in a different age One where without a screen you Might even feel more caged Distracting with a border To blow up the exchange But didn’t anybody ever tell you We’re the same And we may not know where we’re going Ooohhhhh But we got this We can’t stop it Even if it’s hard to be growing Oooohhh We got this We can’t stop it Even if it’s hard to be growing Oooohhh We got this We can’t stop it Even if it’s hard to be growing yeah, yeah, yeah

Is there room in your house For two opposing truths To live under one roof Is there room in your heart For good and bad to weep Together in one heap We keep fighting, dividing Without a chance So there’s no use deciding Without this ask Can you hold two hearts (can you hold two hearts?) In one hand, in one hand Can you love both parts (can you love both parts) Of one man, of one man Can you hold two hearts (can you hold two hearts?) In one hand, in one hand Can you love both parts (can you love both parts?) Of one man, of one man Is there room in your head For wicked and weak To stumble in speech Is there room in your plans For the victims of greed To finally breathe We keep fighting, dividing Without a chance So there’s no use deciding Without this ask Can you hold two hearts (can you hold two hearts?) In one hand, in one hand Can you love both parts (can you love both parts?) Of one man, of one man Can you hold two hearts (can you hold two hearts?) In one hand, in one hand Can you love both parts (can you love both parts?) Of one man, One man, one man Two hearts, one man Two hearts, one man Two hearts, one man Two hearts, one man Two hearts, one man

Walked out on a Wednesday Well after dark Forgot just how cold It was outside Drove off in the distance Tempted to park But the road just kept on Calling your name It asked Do you know who you are? Who you are? You’re a star You know who you are? Who you are? You’re a star You’re a star You know who you are? Who you are? You’re a star You know who you are? Who you are? You’re a star Pulled over in sorrow Into an empty lot No one but the moon By your side Hand over your worries Everything you got To the ten thousand Years in the sky And they said You know who you are? Who you are? You’re a star You know who you are? Who you are? You’re a star You know who you are? Who you are? You’re a star You know who you are? Who you are? You’re a star

about

Once upon a time I was tinkering on an album. Everyday I woke up and went to my computer to make music. One day while recording vocals, a bulldozer started tearing down the church next door. Because of the relentless noise I thought I had to give up the work that was keeping me sane.
The simultaneous tragedy and heart-wrenching beauty of the building's fall, however, taught me the deconstruction was hardly an intrusion. It was the opposite. It was the building trying to sing her last song. I pivoted, used her cries and themes and finished a thirteen track album. It comes out tomorrow.
The beautiful place I’m standing in, like a lot of things for us right now, doesn’t exist anymore. Listen for her, for me, for you.
